This 1987 Land Rover is a right-hand-drive 110 that was imported to the United States in 2015 before it was acquired by the seller, and subsequent work by British Auto Works Inc. of New York, included the installation of a New galvanized steel frame, New 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four, and New replacement five-speed manual transmission along with a repaint in Olive Green with a gloss-black roof and wheel arch extensions. Further work included replacing the clutch, front swivel seals, and assorted power steering and braking components. Additional details include a two-speed transfer case, 16″ alloy wheels, polyurethane suspension bushings, a stainless-steel exhaust system, roof cross bars, replacement gray seat leather, and inward-facing rear bench seat cushions. This Land Rover 110 is now offered with partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.
The body was refinished in the current shade of Olive Green in 2016, and it was installed on a new galvanized frame in 2019. A new heated windshield was installed and exterior details include a gloss-black roof and wheel arch extensions as well as black diamond-plate trim, roof cross bars, sliding rear side windows, windshield vents, and dual mirrors. Corrosion and rust are visible on the bottom of the rear door, below the driver’s door hinge, and on the door sills. Additional photos of exterior imperfections are available upon request.
The 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are finished in black, and they are mounted with 235/85 General Grabber AT2 tires. The suspension was retrofitted with polyurethane suspension bushings in 2019, and work in 2024 included resealing the front swivel balls and replacing the power steering reservoir hoses along with the front brake pads and rotors. The rear wheel cylinders were replaced in June 2025.
The first and second-row seats were reupholstered in gray leather circa 2015, and an invoice in the gallery indicates that replacement front carpeting was installed at that time. Interior appointments include all-weather floor mats, three-point seatbelts, an analog clock, a heater, aluminum shift knobs, and inward-facing rear bench seat cushions. The headliner is discolored.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 80k miles but the new engine that was installed has only 10K miles. The new 2.5-liter 300Tdi Turbodiesel inline-four was installed in 2019 by British Auto Works. Work in June 2025 included an oil change and replacing the valve cover gasket, oil pressure sender, and fuel injector hoses.
The new five-speed manual transmission was installed in 2019 along with a replacement clutch assembly and stainless-steel clutch lines, and it sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a two-speed transfer case. A transfer case leak was addressed in June 2025, and the clutch hydraulic cylinders were replaced at that time. The truck is equipped with stainless-steel exhaust components, and black undercoating has been applied to the replacement frame. Corrosion is visible on a portion of the underside components.
